Parrot test clip Invention was awarded the Gold Medal at the EUREKA World Fair of Inventions, Brussels , 1991 for the novelty of the metal tube tip which is directly connected to the leads. The metal tip with the spring loaded hooked rod performs : a) double metal grip connections and b) direct point contact with very low resistance even in narrow places.

The PCM Parrot Clip is the smaller Parrot clip model, characterized by:
1) Body
- plastic (ABS or Polyamide)
- easy to hand-held
- high voltage protection barriers (according to IEC 1010-2 - 031)
2) Metal tip
- 20 mm long - 1mm, 2 mm, 3 mm
- 0,36 mm or 0,68 rod hook diameter
3) Solder connection to the leads

The PCM Parrot Clip can be used as oscilloscope ground clip for oscilloscope probes
The PCM Parrot Clip has a better accessibility in narrow places then the alligator clip
